Reggae United em Linda-a-Velha

Esta será a segunda edição do Reggae United, que permanecerá fiel ao seu conceito.
O Reggae United 2009 é um evento de solidariedade em prol das “Aldeias de Crianças SOS” e algumas instituições de solidariedade social sediadas no concelho de Oeiras, sendo a ENTRADA pelo menos 1Kg de Alimento não perecível.

Localizado no antigo Quartel de Linda-a-Velha, o Reggae United 2009 apresenta-vos 12 horas do melhor que a cultura Reggae em Portugal tem para oferecer. Em dois palcos diferentes, Roots, Reggae e Dancehall terão o seu espaço de divulgação.

A acompanhar a música, o Speed Football Clash e a Zona Radical prometem animar!!

O Reggae United 2009 terá também uma zona de alimentação com área vegetariana e uma Feira com artigos musicais, artesanato, desporto e muitos mais…

PORTUGUESE FEMALE POWER On 20 May 2006 we had the pleasure of spending 48 hours in Portugal adjudicating an attempt on the Guinness World Record for the Largest Human National Flag. The record to beat was set in Scotland earlier this year when 13,254 fans formed the Saltire, the Scottish national flag, at a Scotland v France Six-Nations game at Murrayfield Rugby Club. Held at Lisbon's national stadium, the event was organized by a company called Realizar who had plenty of experience having organized seven other successful Guinness World Records attempts. These include the Largest Hockey Stick, a staggering 56 ft 7 in ( 17.25 m) long, the Largest Human Logo made up of 34,000 people (part of Portugal's successful bid to host the Euro 2004 soccer championships) and the Largest Football with a whopping diameter of 19 ft 10 in (6.06 m)!
