Feiticeiro de Oz..

The Wizard of Oz (O Mágico de Oz no Brasil/O Feiticeiro de Oz em Portugal) é um filme estadunidense de 1939, produzido pela Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. É baseado no livro infantil homônimo de L. Frank Baum, no qual a garota Dorothy é capturada por um tornado no Kansas e levada a uma terra fantástica de bruxas, de leões covardes, de espantalhos falantes e de muito mais. Estrelado por Judy Garland, Frank Morgan, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, Bert Lahr, Billie Burke e Margaret Hamilton.

Mesmo não sendo o primeiro filme produzido em Technicolor (como muitos acreditam), O Mágico de Oz faz um uso notável da técnica; as seqüências no Kansas possuem um preto-e-branco com tons em marrom, enquanto as cenas em Oz recebem as cores do Technicolor.

Portugal no Guiness com a maior bandeira humana...

PORTUGUESE FEMALE POWER On 20 May 2006 we had the pleasure of spending 48 hours in Portugal adjudicating an attempt on the Guinness World Record for the Largest Human National Flag. The record to beat was set in Scotland earlier this year when 13,254 fans formed the Saltire, the Scottish national flag, at a Scotland v France Six-Nations game at Murrayfield Rugby Club. Held at Lisbon's national stadium, the event was organized by a company called Realizar who had plenty of experience having organized seven other successful Guinness World Records attempts. These include the Largest Hockey Stick, a staggering 56 ft 7 in ( 17.25 m) long, the Largest Human Logo made up of 34,000 people (part of Portugal's successful bid to host the Euro 2004 soccer championships) and the Largest Football with a whopping diameter of 19 ft 10 in (6.06 m)!
