Colégio Chowgule de Margão abre curso de Língua Portuguesa

Um Centro de Língua e Cultura Portuguesa e um curso de Português foram abertos no Smt. Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science de Margão, depois da assinatura, a 12 de Julho, de um Protocolo de Colaboração com o Instituto Camões.

O Smt. Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science de Margão, fundado em 1962, é uma instituição de ensino pré-universitário (High Secondary) de referência no sistema educativo indiano, pelas modelares infra-estruturas que oferece a mais de 1500 alunos e pelo ensino de excelência que pretende atingir.

«A aprendizagem do português e das culturas lusófonas é a partir de agora uma realidade mais acessível a todos os habitantes de South Goa graças ao Centre for Portuguese Language and Culture criado no Chowgule College», declarou o leitor do Instituto Camões e responsável pelo CLP/IC de Panjim, Delfim Correia da Silva.

A abertura solene do curso de Língua Portuguesa e anúncio da criação do Centro contou ainda com a presença do Cônsul-Geral de Portugal em Goa, Paulo Neves Pocinho.
