Alfama e fado!

 Sai do trabalho e chovia a potes. 

Conduzia para ir buscar o meu companheiro e seguimos para a Alfama. Perdidos sem GPS, por causa do transito e perdidos com GPS por causa das ruas fechadas, mas chegamos ao local da Feira da Ladra, dentro da hora combinada. 

Estacionamos o carro e olhei para majestoso e grandioso monumento, Panteão Nacional. Aonde está enterrada, a Amália Rodrigues e Eusébio.

Seguimos pela rua abaixo e lá encontramos os nossos amigos. Entramos na "Tasca da Bela". Cadeiras diferentes, loiças diferentes, guitarras penduradas na parede. Entre as refeições, lá ouvimos o Fado. 

Tocou-nos no coração!

PORTUGUESE FEMALE POWER On 20 May 2006 we had the pleasure of spending 48 hours in Portugal adjudicating an attempt on the Guinness World Record for the Largest Human National Flag. The record to beat was set in Scotland earlier this year when 13,254 fans formed the Saltire, the Scottish national flag, at a Scotland v France Six-Nations game at Murrayfield Rugby Club. Held at Lisbon's national stadium, the event was organized by a company called Realizar who had plenty of experience having organized seven other successful Guinness World Records attempts. These include the Largest Hockey Stick, a staggering 56 ft 7 in ( 17.25 m) long, the Largest Human Logo made up of 34,000 people (part of Portugal's successful bid to host the Euro 2004 soccer championships) and the Largest Football with a whopping diameter of 19 ft 10 in (6.06 m)!
