Praia Fluvial do Areinho

Antes de chegar, fomos almoçar a um restaurante em Miudal, comer bife da Arouca. Muito bom, vale a pena, terninha com batatas caseira e um bom vinho tinto.
Enchemos as garrafas com a água da fonte, para além de banhos inesperados.
Localização: Rio Paiva a 15 Km da vila de Arouca e a 5 Km de Alvarenga.
Descrição: Praia fluvial localizada na margem do Rio Paiva, na freguesia de Canelas. Ponto da partida de algumas actividades desportivas praticadas no Rio Paiva.
Descansos e mergulhos.
Conversas, tipo Sloggi entre dois Sloggi: bola e calções, lol!
Cartadas.
Uma partida de volei, com companheiros novos, e no fim, já o sol se tinha posto, mais um mergulho no rio.
Valeu a pena!
De volta, pelo o caminho, vimos as frentes de fogo, no outro lado do monte.

Portugal no Guiness com a maior bandeira humana...

PORTUGUESE FEMALE POWER On 20 May 2006 we had the pleasure of spending 48 hours in Portugal adjudicating an attempt on the Guinness World Record for the Largest Human National Flag. The record to beat was set in Scotland earlier this year when 13,254 fans formed the Saltire, the Scottish national flag, at a Scotland v France Six-Nations game at Murrayfield Rugby Club. Held at Lisbon's national stadium, the event was organized by a company called Realizar who had plenty of experience having organized seven other successful Guinness World Records attempts. These include the Largest Hockey Stick, a staggering 56 ft 7 in ( 17.25 m) long, the Largest Human Logo made up of 34,000 people (part of Portugal's successful bid to host the Euro 2004 soccer championships) and the Largest Football with a whopping diameter of 19 ft 10 in (6.06 m)!
