APADP

A APADP - Associação de Pais e Amigos de Deficiente Profundos - é uma IPSS (Instituição Particular de Solidariedade Social) nascida oficialmente a 7 de Maio de 1984, no 14ª Cartório Notarial de Lisboa. Nesse dia foi celebrada por 22 pais a escritura pública da APADP e registada sob o nº18/85. Ainda em 1984 é cedida pela Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, uma cave num prédio de habitação social na zona J de Chelas, onde iniciámos o apoio de fim de semana. Neste momento contamos com 56 internos e 11 semi-internos num total de 67 Deficiêntes Profundos.

A APADP pretende dar uma maior qualidade de vida àqueles que não tiveram a “sorte” de nascer “normal”, e ajudar as suas famílias a superar o choque e o dia a dia de ter uma pessoa “diferente” na família.
