Mamma Mia!

"Mamma Mia!" foi um dos musicais mais vistos e aplaudidos (por 30 milhões de pessoas em 170 cidades pelo mundo), ao som da música dos Abba. Agora, vai provavelmente tornar-se o grande filme de Verão.
Donna (Meryl Streep) é uma mãe solteira e independente que gere um pequeno e idílico hotel numa ilha grega. A filha Sophie (Amanda Seyfreid) vai casar e para o casamento Donna convida as suas melhores amigas. Mas Sophie, que secretamente sonha encontrar o pai, faz também três convites inesperados. À ilha chegam três homens (Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan e Stellan Skarsgard) que pertenceram ao passado de Donna, sendo que qualquer um deles pode ser o pai de Sophie. Em 24 horas, Donna desespera e tudo pode acontecer, até porque com um casamento por perto o romance anda no ar.

PORTUGUESE FEMALE POWER On 20 May 2006 we had the pleasure of spending 48 hours in Portugal adjudicating an attempt on the Guinness World Record for the Largest Human National Flag. The record to beat was set in Scotland earlier this year when 13,254 fans formed the Saltire, the Scottish national flag, at a Scotland v France Six-Nations game at Murrayfield Rugby Club. Held at Lisbon's national stadium, the event was organized by a company called Realizar who had plenty of experience having organized seven other successful Guinness World Records attempts. These include the Largest Hockey Stick, a staggering 56 ft 7 in ( 17.25 m) long, the Largest Human Logo made up of 34,000 people (part of Portugal's successful bid to host the Euro 2004 soccer championships) and the Largest Football with a whopping diameter of 19 ft 10 in (6.06 m)!
