Pela primeira vez na minha vida, na semana passada fui a uma reunião da tão criticada Igreja Universal e partilhei as práticas e orações dos presentes.
De repente, o Pastor se aproximou do lugar onde estava.
Olhou-me fixamente e apontou-me o dedo.
Piedosamente, ajoelhei-me e ele colocou as suas mãos na minha cabeça e clamou em voz alta:-Você vai caminhar.Eu respondi-lhe baixo:-Mas não tenho nenhum problema de locomoção.Ele ignorou minha resposta e quase gritando, voltou a exclamar:-Irmão, você vai caminhar!Toda a Assembleia, com as mãos ao alto, começou a chorar:-Você vai caminhar!Mais uma vez, tentei explicar que não tinha nenhum problema com meus membros inferiores, mas foi em vão.
Cada vez mais forte e com mais energia, ele repetiu:-Você vai caminhar!!Enquanto a Assembleia em transe gritava ainda mais forte:- Você vai caminhar!!!!Optei por me calar e não dizer mais nada.
Quando o acto acabou deixei a Assembleia e, acredite ou não, o maldito pastor tinha razão:Tinham-me gamado o carro!!!
PORTUGUESE FEMALE POWER On 20 May 2006 we had the pleasure of spending 48 hours in Portugal adjudicating an attempt on the Guinness World Record for the Largest Human National Flag. The record to beat was set in Scotland earlier this year when 13,254 fans formed the Saltire, the Scottish national flag, at a Scotland v France Six-Nations game at Murrayfield Rugby Club. Held at Lisbon's national stadium, the event was organized by a company called Realizar who had plenty of experience having organized seven other successful Guinness World Records attempts. These include the Largest Hockey Stick, a staggering 56 ft 7 in ( 17.25 m) long, the Largest Human Logo made up of 34,000 people (part of Portugal's successful bid to host the Euro 2004 soccer championships) and the Largest Football with a whopping diameter of 19 ft 10 in (6.06 m)!
