Um homem de Sorte - Nicholas Sparks


Em meio a uma batalha em plena Guerra do Iraque, o fuzileiro Logan Thibault (Zac Efron) encontra no chão a foto de uma mulher desconhecida. Ele a guarda e passa a cuidá-la como se fosse um talismã, prometendo que, caso sobreviva à guerra, irá encontrá-la. Meses depois, ele retorna aos Estados Unidos e passa a pesquisar onde ela poderia morar a partir de pistas dadas pela própria foto. Ele a encontra em um canil, onde trabalha juntamente com a avó (Blythe Danner) e vive com o filho pequeno (Riley Thomas Stewart). Logan passa a também trabalhar no canil, sem revelar o verdadeiro motivo pelo qual chegou até ele.

PORTUGUESE FEMALE POWER On 20 May 2006 we had the pleasure of spending 48 hours in Portugal adjudicating an attempt on the Guinness World Record for the Largest Human National Flag. The record to beat was set in Scotland earlier this year when 13,254 fans formed the Saltire, the Scottish national flag, at a Scotland v France Six-Nations game at Murrayfield Rugby Club. Held at Lisbon's national stadium, the event was organized by a company called Realizar who had plenty of experience having organized seven other successful Guinness World Records attempts. These include the Largest Hockey Stick, a staggering 56 ft 7 in ( 17.25 m) long, the Largest Human Logo made up of 34,000 people (part of Portugal's successful bid to host the Euro 2004 soccer championships) and the Largest Football with a whopping diameter of 19 ft 10 in (6.06 m)!
